Defining Admission Statuses
Admission statuses are an important aspect of managing students in your school. Accessing School Settings
To access your school settings, follow these steps:
Go to settings.
Navigate to "set up school structure".
Click on "admission status".
Here, you will see a list of pre-programmed admission statuses, including "Requested Application," "Waiting Application," "Waiting for Approval," "Waiting for Contract," and "Contract Signed." These statuses are designed to help you keep track of the different stages of the admission process. However, you can also customize these statuses by adding new ones with titles and descriptions.
Adding a New Student
Now that you have defined your admission statuses, you can start adding new students to your school. To do so, follow these steps:
Click on add student.
Enter basic student information like name, date of birth, gender, contact details, and address.
Select the school year and grade that you are adding this student to.
Set the student status (e.g., tentative).
Set the admission status (e.g., 'Application Approved').
Save the student's details.
Organizing Student Lists
As you add more students to your school, it's important to keep their information organized for easy access. Here are some tips for organizing your student lists:
Students are added to lists based on the chosen school year.
Use the school-year drop-down menu to view students for specific school years.
Filter and sort students based on their admission status for better tracking.
