Student records from your existing systems can be imported into S-Success using the acceptable .CSV or .XLSX file format.
To import student records into the system using a .CSV or .XLSX file:
1. Click Students>Import Student Records.
2. On the Import Student Records page, click the Choose File button, then select the file containing the records for import from your computer.
3. Click Import. The file is then checked for errors prior to the actual upload.
4. If the records do not have any errors, they are successfully imported into the system. Otherwise, the system will inform you about the errors, and give you a choice to either cancel the import or process only the records that do not have any errors. To cancel the import, click Cancel Import. To import the correct records only, click Import Correct Records.
If you choose to cancel, you are taken back to the Import Student Records page. Correct the errors, then try importing the files again.
If you choose to continue importing the records without errors, those records will be uploaded into the system. You will then need to correct the remaining records with errors, then upload them again.
