The Action Center is where you can add, edit, and view task assignments. To access the Action Center, click Action Center on the navigation menu at the top.
Under the Tasks tab, use the powerful Search feature to look for specific tasks that have been assigned to you. From here, you can also add, edit, and delete tasks.
To Search for a Task
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab. You may search for a task by Title, Assigned To Resource, Related To Resource, Due Date, and Priority.
To Assign a Task
There are two ways to assign a task.
Method 1
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. Click the Add Task button on the top left.
4. On the Add Task window, enter a title for the task, then select a due date for the task from the calendar.
5. By default, priority is set to Critical. If it is a non-critical task.you may change priority to either Essential or Non-Essential.
6. Assign a resource to handle the task, then enter more details about the task, if necessary.
NOTE: Resources or staff members get a notification email once assigned to a task, which is also added to their Calendar or agenda.
7. Click Save Task.
NOTE: Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Method 2
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, click the Add icon on the right.
3. Click the Add task button.
4. On the Add Task window, enter a title for the task, then select a due date for the task from the calendar.
5. By default, priority is set to Critical. If it is a non-critical task.you may change priority to either Essential or Non-Essential.
6. Assign a resource to handle the task, then enter more details about the task, if necessary.
7. Click Add Task.
To Edit a Task
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. Look for the task to be edited (for more details, see To Search for a Task).
4. Once you find the task, check the box to the left, then click the Edit task button on the top left.
5. On the Edit Task window, edit the task, then click Update Task. To mark the task as complete after editing, check the Check if task is completed box.
To Reschedule a Task
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. Look for the task to be edited (for more details, see To Search for a Task).
4. Once you find the task, check the box to the left, then click the Reschedule task button on the top left.
5. Select a new due date for the task from the Calendar, then click Done.
To Delete a Task
1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. Look for the task to be deleted (for more details, see To Search for a Task).
4. Once you find the task, check the box to the left, then click the Delete task button on the top left.
5. Click OK to delete the task.
