Managing the Calendar

When you open the Action Center, the Calendar displays your agenda, comprising your appointments and tasks, by default.

You can add, edit, reschedule, and delete both appointments and task assignments under the Calendar tab. From here, you can also change the calendar view and search for appointments.

To Change the Calendar View

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, click the My Agenda box on the topmost-left.
3. Select the preferred Calendar view. Daily, weekly, and monthly views of the Calendar are available.

To Search for an Appointment

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, on the Search bar, enter the appointment title, then click the Search icon.

To Add an Appointment

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, click the Add icon on the right.


3. Click the Add Appointment button.


4. On the Add Appointment window, on the Appointment Date box, select the time for the appointment.

5. On the Meeting Goal box, enter the goal for the meeting.
6. On the Location box, enter the location for the meeting.
7. On the Meeting Agenda box, enter the agenda for the meeting. For tips on setting a proper meeting agenda, read this article.
8. On the Recipients box, select the users to invite to the meeting.
9. Click the Add appointment button. The new appointment is then added to the Calendar.

To Edit an Appointment

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, either search for the appointment or look for it manually on the Calendar. For more details on searching for an appointment, see To Search for an Appointment.
3. Once you find the appointment, click the Edit appointment button.


4. On the Edit appointment window, edit the appointment, then click Update.

To Reschedule an Appointment

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, either search for the appointment or look for it manually on the Calendar. For more details on searching for an appointment, see To Search for an Appointment.
3. Once you find the appointment, click the Reschedule appointment button.


4. On the Date/Time window, make your changes to the appointment date and time, then click the Reschedule button.

To Delete an Appointment

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, either search for the appointment or look for it manually on the Calendar. For more details on searching for an appointment, see To Search for an Appointment.
3. Once you find the appointment, click the Delete appointment button.


4. Click OK to delete the appointment.

To Add a Task

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, if this is the first time you are adding a task via the Calendar tab, click the Add icon on the right, then go to Step 3. Otherwise, skip to Step 4.


3. Click the Add task button, then skip to Step 5.

4. Click an existing task on your Calendar, then click the New task button to the right.


5. On the Add Task window, enter a title for the task, then select a due date for the task from the calendar.
6. By default, priority is set to Critical. If it is a non-critical task.you may change priority to either Essential or Non-Essential.
7. Assign a resource to handle the task, then enter more details about the task, if necessary.
8. Click Add Task.

To Edit a Task

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, look for the task to be edited.
3. Once you find the task, click the record, then click the Edit task button to the right.
4. On the Edit Task window, edit the task, then click Update Task. To mark the task as complete after editing, check the Check if task is completed box.

To Reschedule a Task

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Under the Calendar tab, look for the task to be edited.
3. Once you find the task, click the record, then click the Reschedule task button to the right.
4. On the Reschedule Task window, select a new date for the task, then click Reschedule.

To Delete a Task

1. Click Action Center on the navigation bar at the top.
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. Look for the task to be deleted (for more details, see To Search for a Task).
4. Once you find the task, check the box to the left, then click the Delete task button on the top left.
5. Click OK to delete the task.
