Adding a New Student Record

There are two methods for adding a new student record in the system.

Adding a Student Record Through the Students Menu

This method involves adding the student record from the Students menu. This is the recommended method for adding a new student record in the system as it is more convenient and takes a fewer number of clicks.

1. Click Students>Add Student.
2. On the Create Student Profile page, select the student's parents from the list.

NOTE: If the parents are not on the list yet, you will need to create a parent record first. For more details, see Adding a New Parent Record.

3. Enter the student's first name, last name, street address (including city, state, and zip code), country, gender, date of birth, and grade level. Optionally, you may add a contact telephone number and upload a photo of the student from your computer.


4. Click Create.

NOTE: Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

Once the new student record is added to the system, notes, tasks, and appointments can be added or linked to the record. In addition, the student's medical information, tests, interventions, and files can be added to the student record.

Adding a Student Record Through the Members Menu

This method involves adding the student record from the Members menu.

NOTE: This method requires an existing record for the student's parents in the system. If the parents do not have an existing record in the system yet, use the aforementioned Method 1 to add the student record into the system.

1. Click Members>Parent Listing.
2. On the Parents Listing page, look for the parents of the student to be added.
3. Click the View button to the right of the parent record.
4. Under the Children tab, click the Add a child button on the right.
5. On the Create Student Profile page, enter the student's first name, last name, street address (including city, state, and zip code), country, gender, date of birth, and grade level. Optionally, you may add a contact telephone number and upload a photo of the student from your computer.

4. Click Create.

Once the new student record is added to the system, notes, tasks, and appointments can be added or linked to the record. In addition, the student's medical information, tests, interventions, and files can be added to the student record.
