Viewing and Deleting Notifications

Depending on your notification settings, appointments, tasks, and notes to which you are assigned or copied on, triggers a notification which can be seen on your Dashboard, specifically via the Notifications link, which sits between the Search bar and Messages link.

Notifications are also triggered when appointments, tasks and notes are edited. Tutorial sessions and testing schedules to which you are invited will also trigger notifications.

When you have an unread notification, a number is overlaid on top of the Notifications button. This number indicates the number of unread notifications. Click the Notifications button to view the details of the notification.

You can also go directly to the related student or parent record, if any, from the notification.

To View Notifications

1. Click the Notifications button.
2. By default, only the last four notifications are displayed on the box that appears. Click the View All button at the bottom to display the Notifications page.

3. The Notifications page displays all your notifications, except those that you have already deleted. To view the details of the notification, go to Step 4. To view the student or parent record related to the notification, skip to Step 6.

4. Click the notification title to view its details.

5. A window opens displaying the details of the notification. To close the window, click the X button on the top right corner.

6. To go directly to the student or parent record, click the link to the related student or parent record, if any. The related student or parent record is then displayed on a separate browser window or tab, where it can be edited or deleted.

To Delete Notifications

To delete an item from the list of notifications, position your cursor to the right of a notification, then click the Delete button.

To delete all items from the list of notifications, click the Clear All button on the top right.
